The weight of perfect
I fix circles till they bleed, erase lines that never bend. Even shadows I correct, as if flaws could ever end. I chase straight where none exists, press the paper till it tears. Perfection whispers in my ear, and I’m drowning in its snares. Every mark feels like a wound, every fault a scar I see. But the harder that I reach, the further it runs from me.
