The Way to Him
Lonely in a desert, surrounded by sandstorm, wandering here and there, on those dark nights, everything was becoming more and more vague. I looked at the greyish moon, those lifeless trees, their hopeless breath. Maybe they too, like me, were on the same journey. Sometimes my soul felt tired, sometimes eyes, sometimes I heard the yowling of lynxes, as I continued to walk. A question rose, 'In this endless field, brimming with various dangers, where should I turn my trembling heart?' And at the corner of my heart, I saw hope like a dot with dimmed shine. As soon as I sensed the surrounding against me, I closed my eyes, dived deep in my heart, raised my hands towards the Neverending being. To Him, one by one, my wounds murmured, and suddenly from my heart, a spring flowed. Thus I found the way! - Shahbaz Ahmed
