The Way Our Hands Fit
In class one second- Out the Next My mind drifts, and I take you with me- The hill we go that's near my house Walking down the street as the snowflakes land in your hand Or even late-night talks about why we work so well Its not real, but it sure feels like it- The warmth of our hands in the cold and the way they fit like a puzzle piece The way we talk to each other as if we finish each other's sentences And the way your perfume fits your personality so well I could do it for hours- escape reality with you Just to never come back until im satisfied I wonder? What have I missed- From all the times I've left, and gone to the place where you are To be honest- Probably not much Because what much can I miss when im with you- there But that is all I can do Daydream- and go to a place where we can work together- and not here- where we don't
