The way...
They say I don’t know her enough to explain, Like I could put her into words that easily anyway. The way her smile slowly spreads on her face, Could brighten the dark in the quietest place. The way her eyes shine softer than light, Like moonlight that somehow feels warmer at night. The way that she laughs, then looks down for a while, And tries not to hide that small, nervous smile. The way her soft voice can quiet my mind, So gentle, so calm, so easy and kind. The way that her hand brushes softly with mine, Makes my heart forget how to beat for a time. And maybe that’s why I can’t say it just right, Because some kinds of beauty don’t fit when you write.
