The Wave Called Life
I once stood by the shore, watching the sea, Waves rising and falling, just like me. Each crash a lesson, each calm a breath, Teaching me how to dance with death. I tried to fight, to hold control, But the ocean spoke softly to my soul: “Child, you can steer, or you can flow, But either way, you still must go.” Some days I rode, proud and free, Other days, it swallowed me. Yet in the storm, I found my say — To live, not drift, to find my way. Now when the tide pulls hard and deep, I let it guide what I can’t keep. For life’s a wave — it comes, it goes, But how you ride it… that’s what shows.
