the waterfall
I couldn't feel My hands My legs My feet Walking around aimlessly Tears burning my cheeks The cold piercing my skin I wasn't ready for it I had a good time So why am I scared The teetering of Leaving on time, to get back for curfew Or staying because I'm "meant" to The fight and fumble Walking around in desperation Crying, because I don't know what to choose. I remember, The cliff nearby I stagger slowly Sitting on curbs Sobbing harder every turn Waiting for a peace offering That's not seeming to come Stranger Neighbour Power Walker "I know what you're looking to do, you're thinking about going over that waterfall" A nonsensical talk I can't quite remember Encouraged me to go back To the hospital for slumber "I'm sorry I don't have money on me to help get you there" You saved my life tonight sir, I can't thank you enough. ~ m.m.e.l / cozmichuez
