The Warehouse
In the heart of the city's forgotten maze, A warehouse looms, where shadows graze. Its walls are cloaked in time's embrace, A realm where spirits leave no trace. The air is thick, a heavy pall, Silence broken by a phantom call. Creaking beams and whispers low, A haunted hum begins to grow. Pale apparitions drift and sway, Caught in an endless, spectral ballet. Their hollow eyes and spectral forms, Weave through the warehouse’s darkened storms. Carts roll forth on rusted wheels, Driven by hands the void conceals. Their echoes sing in a chilling refrain, As if bound by an invisible chain. Cobwebs glisten in the ghostly glow, Marking secrets no mortal should know. Boxes shift in the dead of night, Guided by forces hidden from sight. A chill descends, a frozen breath, A dance of life with the specter of death. Yet, in the gloom, a strange allure, A riddle bound by the darkness' cure. Leave, if you can, this shadowed domain, For none who linger escape the chain. The dark warehouse holds its eerie feast, A realm of the restless, and never the least.
