The Void Within
Everyday it's the same routine, A constant cycle, over and over, which always ends in the usual way: A quiet, dark and empty void I can't comprehend. I am grateful for life and all its moments, But I can't shake this heavy malaise. Is it anger? Is it sadness? Is it regret, Or a simple cry for help from within? I try to be brave and just forget. To push the thought out of my head. But my curiousity always wins, and I am captivated yet. Alone and searching in my bed, Staring into the darkness — But no matter how hard I try, I just can't wrap my mind around it.
