The view of a curious shadow.
Dear shadow, Why do you shadow me? I've been told it's your job, but why me? I have no meaning, this I know because I live in a dark, dark world, no one sees anything or anyone, but in your world, it's like a whole new universe, colors and shapes I've never known, yet I feel as if they were whispered to me by the stars. I want to know what it's like to be you, to be so free and happy in that world of color and light. I hear you sometimes, if I focus really hard and bury my thoughts down deep into my mind, I hear you talk about me...or is it to me? That I'll never know, but as I look and listen through the wall between our worlds, it starts to look more like a door or a window, and as I step through, I look around, taking in all the colorful sights, smells, and sounds, and I realize as I pull myself fully out of this window, that there was a possibility that maybe, I had been your shadow.
