the very end
I gave my heart, my trust, my soul, Pieces of me to make him whole. Through love, through pain, I tried to prove, That every step was filled with love. He asked for more, I gave my all, Yet still he built a higher wall. My honesty turned into doubt, Accusations circling roundabout. I stood so loyal, I stayed so true, But nothing I gave was enough for you. You saw suspicion, where love should be, And left me hurt, but setting me free. For love is not chains, nor endless test, It's trust, it's care, it's giving rest. One day I'll find a gentler hand that makes me feel loved again
