The Unvarnished Truth
The truth, it hurts, it cuts so deep, What I feel inside, no secrets keep. I let you know, I won’t disguise, How you take it, that’s your prize. I can leave you in an instant and not care, I keep you around just because you’re there. You’re my puppet, controlled and small, Pathetic little person, you can’t do it all. Whatever makes me happy, I’ll pursue, Whoever brings me joy, I’ll follow through. The truth is harsh, it may seem bleak, But I see you as fragile, naive, and weak. Incompetent, stupid, pathetic too, If you want, I’ll break you through. Piece by piece, until there’s none, This is how I feel, it’s not just fun. I know your thoughts, your every move, What I say will stick, it will groove. You can’t escape, it’s reality’s call, This is my truth, take it all. I don’t care, never did, never will, This is my stance, my heart’s still. So take it as you please, my friend, This is the truth, until the end.
