the unseen sacrifice of Jesus
He walked the earth, a man of grace, With love in eyes, and gentle face, He healed the sick, and calmed the storm, His words of hope, a guiding form. He taught of peace, and love untold, A kingdom built, on hearts of gold, He showed compassion, pure and true, For every soul, He saw anew. He bore the weight, the cross so high, For all our sins, He'd gladly die, His sacrifice, a love so deep, For us to live, His peace to keep. Yet some ignore, His gift so grand, They turn away, with hearts of sand, They choose their path, of selfish gain, And miss the grace, that He sustains. He calls to them, with voice so clear, "Come follow me, and cast out fear," But still they linger, blind and cold, Unmoved by love, a story told. He waits with patience, ever true, His heart aflame, with love for you, He offers grace, with open arms, To guide us through, life's trials and harms. Oh, may we see, His sacrifice, And turn our hearts, to His embrace, May we embrace, His love so deep, And live in peace, His promise to keep.
