The unseen grace
The bloom, she boasts in colors bold, A fleeting beauty, to have and hold. The world admires, with eager eyes, Her fragrant breath, beneath warm skies. But turn your gaze, to something less, The leaf, in shadowed quietness. No vibrant hue, no perfumed grace, Just simple green, in its humble place. It feeds the bloom, with patient hand, A silent strength, across the land. Through sun and storm, it plays its part, A verdant soul, a steadfast heart. The flower fades, its moment done, But leaves remain, till autumn's sun. A quiet worth, in plainest sight, A constant comfort, day and night. So let us learn, to love the small, The unnoticed leaf, that gives its all. For beauty hides, where few may seek, In simple things, so soft and meek.
