The Truth about Monster's
I’m pretty sure we were all taught either out of our imagination or influenced by a movie or other kids our age that, monsters usually were under our bed, closet, or even appear when the lights were turned off. But I wonder. Why didn’t anyone warn us that there are people we will meet or have already met that could be a monster? No one ever bothered to explain to us that they were once human beings too with a soul that was soft and light as silk. But just like us, they gave their trust to someone who stole that silk from their soul and turn them into this creature. No one taught us to have compassion toward them. Everyone including ourselves either rejects them or we get terrified by them. Yet we forget, people get so tired of getting asked what’s wrong and they run out of nothing to tell them. They’ve tried and they’ve tried, but the words just turn to ashes every time they try to leave their mouth. They start as fire in the pit of our stomach, but come out in a puff of smoke. You are not you anymore. And you don’t know how to fix this. The worst part is…you don’t even know how to try. So when you see a monster next, always remember this. Don't fear the thing before you. Fear the thing that created it instead
