the trees
I'm in the trees where whispers grow, Beneath the leaves, the breezes flow. The branches sway, a dance so free, In emerald shade, it's just for me. The ancient roots, in silence deep, Hold secrets long, and dreams to keep. With bird songs sweet and shadows cast, I find my peace, my heart held fast. So let me stay where sunlight beams, In the embrace of nature's dreams. For in these woods, my spirit roams, I'm in the trees, I'm finally home.
