The Transverse
Where are you? They say we exist. That we are waves oscillating in a time without duration, in a space without measure. What is the breadth and length of you? Let us increase each other's frequency so together we may approach the sublime. If we are but a dream, let the dreamer claim us. If we are fate, let us be bound together by faith. There is no map for where we go. No guiding star in the sidereal heavens. We are a mention, a memory, bidden, hidden. Time bereft, eternity awaits. To soar wingless beyond thought. To sleep without awareness of you. Love’s deepest expression is the sharing of our loneliness. Pray we do not become each other’s emptiness. Death would better serve. And of days left behind, let us sing though there is no song. I am here. Close your eyes. For a time.
