The town you lived...
i always make sure not to fall asleep while travelling i need experience every moment of the journey, the unfinished songs, laughters that would make me smile at strangers This particular journey was different, it was as if a memory of my life was unravelling But I could swear I've never been to this town yet it was dazzling with flash backs As we edged closer to the city so did the feeling of familiarity with the environment Yet i could swear I've never lived here not even for a moment I was beginning to see it as my mind playing tricks on me, some kind of torment. Then i saw the little apple tree where people are gathered and pressing their phones It was never my memory but yours, your favourite spot before you call me was behind the stones You'd say the network is stronger there and you loved the gathering of people You'd show me around turning your camera to every angel of the spot wanting me to witness it as you do. I got too familiar with the place but never been there until today Until today "i caught a train that passed where you lived" It was beautiful, just like you said.
