The Things I Could Be
I wonder what I could be if there wasn't such mania inside of me. Through this lunacy, meant just for me I am a force, Watch out for me. Oh, all the things I could be, But there's such anger inside of me. You must wonder what it's like, What it's like to be me. I'm so out of reach, Don't you dare get close to me. I count each second of each day with a tick, And pray one day, Happiness will stick. I wonder what I could be if there wasn't such sadness inside of me. How can this insanity be? Oh but unstoppable is me. Through my crazy, I am wiser than thee. You must wonder what it's like, What it's like to be me. For what I hear, For what I see, Is not of this world, And neither is me.
