The Theory of Eye Contact
The ambience of cacophonous sounds in the hallway Thine alluring mein leaves me want to touch you, if i may Yearning haply our strings will interlink Though this phantasm is too absurd to think But something unexpected happened that time Our eyes met— Our eyes met and I feel the zing colors from your eyes to mine Those eyes looking at me looking so divine The world stops, suddenly it turns slowly I was so mesmerized got lost in the world and everything was hazy My heart skipped, i couldn't breathe and my mind was falling It was your breath in my lungs filling the oxygen that i'm breathing Like a movie, a scene when characters falls Like a movie, where slow mo and the undying excitement calls We look away, act like nothing happened, act like a mime Cause just like a movie, this must only last for a moment of time I look again and you're no longer looking at me The moment I looked, you were smiling and it's her you turns to see There's no possession I can hold but my heart aches for you It was just an eye contact, nothing more and nothing new
