The Tale of First Love
I've always wondered What it feels like to be in love Why folks go crazy and even die for it Knowing that not all love lasts A love that cannot last doesn't deserve a sacrifice I am most afraid of first love A tale that's often told but never lasts They are the ones that always get broken. How silly is that? The tale is told to be memorable and precious Something that can't Be described with only words But aren't so as others? To see love blossom for it Only gets old and later rotten To build a world, only to depart I fear that day when it's me It scares me more to think That it's a paradox we all must play Whether you like it or not Well, it must sound hypocritical In a sense that falling in love is not an option Neither falling out It's life's cruel jest, as stories unfold, To love, to lose, in a tale so bold A saying that always rhymes At one point everyone falls in love At some point they all fall out
