The taker
He takes, Heartbreak is too much a sin for him, Pain a road to torture he cannot endure, For he has the heart of the moon, He takes all that she gives, The fear, realizations, agony, temptations, He can't bare to watch. He lets them call him evil and unwanted, But he has a mission, One to rescue those at her mercy, They don't understand his efforts until they're at his rest. He snatches the time left, The wonder and desire, The good and the bad, no in-between, A fire in the forest he has no ease until he has taken it all. He is death and he takes.
