The Symbol
Grabbing the wheel, I begin to tremble What I fear most is merely a symbol Why do I feel this way Guess I'll have to pay Remember Deep Breaths Or it'll be your death It's all in my head Well, that's just dread Happy memories play in my brain Hope It's not the last time I see rain Accelerating into the depths of uncertainty Unsure if I possess the ability The sun is in my face Trying to go at my own pace Looking behind me I feel rushed and pushed Only if they understood Twists and curves It's beginning to blur My loved ones I hold dear Hope they have nothing to bear
