The Sunday Christains
On Sunday they fill the church, They sing loud and pray strong. They talk about love and kindness, But many actions go wrong. They say, “God bless you,” smiling, Then talk bad behind backs. They say, “Don’t judge anyone,” But judge in meetings and chats. They give money at the altar, So everyone can see. But ignore the poor and needy, As if it is not their duty. They fight for position and title, Secretary, leader, fame. Inside church they look important, Outside not the same. Today’s youth say “fellowship,” “Church program,” “ministry time,” But use it for secret relationships, Calling dating something divine. Bible verses in WhatsApp status, DP looking pure and bright, But character is shown in real life, Not only in Sunday light. Unemployment is rising fast, Yet they blame only fate. Faith without hard work Will not change their state. Wearing a cross is easy, But changing the heart is rare. It’s easy to say “I’m Christian,” Let them prove it , if they truly care. ~Sohem
