The sun came out today
Even though yesterday yielded rotten fruit, Even though the darkness lasted long, Even though we saw yesterday as an ant sees a boot, We must always remain strong. Even though the past holds much pain, Even though memories of youth are fading, We must learn to march through the rain, We must learn to appreciate the memories remaining. We cannot cling to yesterday As a child clings to innocence We must learn to stay far,far away from things that simply make no sense Whatever adventures your heart bears Whatever endeavors your heart yearns for Keep them safe away from the despairs of tomorrow's storms.
