The Sun and Moon
The sun and moon live in sweet harmony. One brings light, warmth and life. One brings dark, cold and death. They are not friends but neither are they enemies. The sun gladly steps aside for night. The moon knows the light comes next. They have coexisted this way for an eternity. Each one holds its own special wonders. The sun tells the world when to wake. The moon tells the world when to sleep. Each knows one can't live without the other. The sun's kiss on your skin feels great. The moon's kiss is soft and prickly. Each have their own temples and worshipers. These remarkable oblate spheroid are easy to spot. The earth revolves in orbit around the Sun. The moon rotates in orbit around the earth. Both synchronized like dancing the foxtrot. The earth with vibrant colors that leave you stunned. The moon with it's different shades of gray dirt. They've been dancing so long they can't stop. When you're outside look up at the moon or sun. Know that all in history did the same. From Jesus Christ to Niel Armstrong. For we are so different, yet we are also the same. © Deoneloko
