The strength to Rise
In shadows deep, where light was scarce, I wandered lost, with a heavy heart. Each day a battle, each breath a plea, Searching for a reason, to just let me be. The nights were long, the silence loud, A constant storm beneath a shroud. Yet through the darkness, a whisper came, A song of hope, a flicker of flame. Citizen Soldier's words, a lifeline thrown, In their melody, I found my own. A reason to live, a spark to ignite, The strength to rise, to face the night. Though pain persists, and scars remain, I've learned to dance through the rain. With every note, a step I take, Toward a future, for my own sake. In the music, I found my way, A reason to live, a brighter day. Through the lyrics, I learned to forgive, Myself, my past, and choose to live. ---
