THE STRANGER:A BODY BETRAYED
Body creeps, day and night, The ache within,a constant guest. Groaning and melting every seconds, The distress in muscle's fibres,a lot to harbor. "Hey you!,"she cries to the pain within, "Don't you rest? Free me,let me breathe again." Tears streaming down, she pleads for reprieve, But the stranger persists,so unkind. Each step,a struggle, Each breath,a moan. Every step,a test of will unknown, Maybe that's the agony the body desires. "I'll be fine again,"she whispers low, A promise to herself,a heart that won't give in. For amidst this pain,a strange solace lies, A glimmer of hope, she must confess. #theheartbleeds #thepencries
