The storm that blows
Trees sway as the wind blows Yet their roots dig down, Deep into Earth's core. So as the powerful storm hits, The trees shake with the dirt, Rattling like a baby's toy. This storm will pass as we know, It always does. Yet the roots Stay put in the soil, prepared For the next blow to try with all it's might. Some trees need no roots, yet They dig deep down as a reminder Of those trees whose roots Didn't stay put.
