The Storm
In the storm of our goodbyes, we forgot our goodbye kiss. I had those raindrops in my eyes, With my thoughts of what I'd miss But we left it very warm, And said we parted as good friends. Yet, you were turning on your charm, (And I know what that portends.) Goodbye my love, I hope you find your treasure at the rainbow's end. But it's my hope I come to mind, If you should ever need a friend.
