The Stench That Follows
I'm in my bed, and yet I smell, A stench so bad, I cannot tell. Its source, though clear, I fear to name, For Carlos' feet bear all the blame. Through walls it creeps, through doors it flows, A rancid cloud that only grows. No place is safe, no air is pure, His foul aroma finds each door. I close my eyes, but still it stays, A haunting scent that never fades. Oh, Carlos, please, just wash them well, And save us all from this living hell.
