THE SOUR TEARS
Time heals, but the centuries are now ticking by Hope never ends, but here I am enveloped in unending dubiety Ever after, they say, but here I am broken forever Since you broke it, no doctor could heal Opting for total removal, my heart had no choice Uncontrolled stabs you gave it removed its tiniest hope of life Real life it has seen, no more happily ever after like the folktales say Trust was all that costed Every red flag was successfully ignored 'All will be well' my pliable stony heart would comfort itself Right and wrong it had not differentiated So now it's all done, and I keep enjoying 'the sour tears'
