The Soundtrack of My Mind
there’s always a song playing. if it’s not coming out of my headphones, it’s looping in the back of my head, a constant, quiet soundtrack to everything I do. I don’t just listen, though, I have to catch the notes and throw them back. humming while I make breakfast, testing my range in the shower, letting the lyrics spill out until my room feels less empty. it’s honestly a bit of an addiction. my friends ask what I’m listening to, but the truth is, I’m just hooked on the feeling of a melody fitting perfectly inside a moment. Sometimes I wonder if I even know how to process a feeling without trying to find the perfect song to match it. It’s like I’m constantly living in a movie, humming through the quiet spaces, totally obsessed, totally consumed, and I wouldn't change a single thing about it.
