THE SIN I HAVE COMMITTED
The sin I have committed cannot be undone, but I can certainly strive to ensure that no further sins occur in the future. A human being's greatest error is to be the cause of someone's life being ruined, or of someone's happiness being snatched away forever. Life's deepest regret is becoming the instrument of another person's destruction. O God, grant me the punishment for the sins I have committed, and ensure that I never again become the cause of anyone's sorrow. I surrender myself completely at Your feet.
