The shiver in my spine
The shiver in my spine, The warm, masculine arms. I’m drowning in an endless pool, He makes me feel like a fool. His touch hums through my body, His voice crawls under my skin. I’m bare inside the sea, My pulse won’t settle in. Is he the one I’m igniting for, The one I can’t stop looking for? Pure electricity in his coil— What happens when water meets oil? Can you hear me when you’re inside? Can you make me feel like I’m losing my mind? The two of you will make me crack, And my body will split in half. My body, my resurrection, my craving, my creation. My lust for you can’t grow any stronger. Surround me until you’re done, And don’t ever forget where you’ve gone. Make me feel. Recreate me. Destroy me, and build me again. I’m not in love, I’m in pain. And I don’t want your love—give me surrender. Surround me until kingdom come. Make me feel alive inside. Double the feeling, double the body, double my pleasure and double my creation. Feed me and spit me out For every sinful thought comes sinful regret. Let me drown; I’ll keep my head above. Make me breathe into your arms. They said I won’t be left unfulfilled.
