The shell
She picked it up and held it gently in her soft, tender hands. Looking at it brought back memories of love on sun-kissed sands. Two happy people, so much to live for without a care or worry. Never thinking about the future and never in a hurry. Then she remembered that heartbreaking night, those very last whispered goodbyes.
