The Shadow's A OK
The Shadow's A OK R I. I met my shadow in The Lounge down In downtown In a lounge named 'Fade Away,' He was sitting At a square table Sipping a glass of A OK. He held a thin cigarette In his left hand Using yesterday As an ashtray. He was wearing a Frank Zappa T shirt And a pair of size Medium jeans He was wearing Sneaky sneakers And I know what Those sneakers mean. II I shook the Left hand of My shadow And he said to me 'Have a seat.' After I sat he asked If I liked the car I was Driving I replied 'It's better than driving My feet.' 'You always were almost Funny. ' He said smirking His usual smirk I replied 'That's because Of your Unfunny smirking And cause My nerves Get on my nerves.' Then I asked if I could Ask him some questions He replied 'As long as it doesn't hurt.' III. Then I peppered him With several questions He listened as a Sympathetic soul He said he liked Hanging around me Except when I Lose control IV. I asked if he had Any suggestions He replied, 'No, you're an ok good guy.' 'I just want to tell you That I am retiring And I think I'll give magic a try.' I wished him good luck With his magic He told me not To stress too much.
