The Sea
Who am I supposed to be? In this whirling sea The reef has fallen Bringing disaster to the economy I can't breath I can't speak or even see The twist and turns the ebb and flow Where do I go? All I know is the current All I ever knew is the sea But these other things in my way Make it hard to swim While I stretch my fins Try to grab and reach Others complain and others teach No time for either I just want to seek But who am I? I still have no clue In this sea so vast once bright now dark blue My tears add to the world A color I already knew This quest to find me This venture to discover The calling for whatever I am That is something new.
