The Scars
The healed scars hurt again like an abyss opening up inside me, and I fall endlessly into the well of tears where the pain accumulates. Silence broken by whispers from the past, feelings of a lost love, shadows dancing on the walls of my chest, the memories kill me. A night without stars, without moonlight, only pain guides me to where I lose myself. The healed scars bleed again, and I begin to feel the weight of my soul. The well of tears is where I hide from the pain that never ceases.
