The River Tears
I wonder in darkness, My lamp fades into night, I cannot see my hands, My hope is growing into fright, I follow blood trails, Upon the ground at my feet, Hoping my eyes, And the light, Would, or could finally meet, I cannot seem to , shake this scary feeling off, For it's a feeling of dread, And a sense of Loss, I hold on tight to hope, As I finally see, A river flowing in the dark, It flows so endlessly, A ferryman comes across, And ask me for a coin, For if I cross the river now, I would surely lose my loins, As I look into his eyes, I can see his darkened face, I gather up the courage, To ask him about this place, I do not ride this boat, For the thrills, or kicks he says, This is Hades my dear soul, As you are surely dead, I look over the side, And my eyes start to see, A glow upon the water, Dead souls screaming at me, I wait upon the vessel, Wondering about my fate, For why am I hoping now, the time has come to late, My eyes start to water, As the Tear drops, Fall with fears, I am no longer on The River Styx, I am on, The River Tears
