The River of Life
Life is a river, wide and deep, Flowing through valleys, climbing steep. It twists and turns, it ebbs and flows, A dance of highs, a dance of lows. The sun will rise, the sun will set, Each day a chance, each night a debt. Moments fleeting, like whispers in the wind, Some we cherish, some we rescind. Paths we take, choices we make, Dreams we chase, hearts that ache. But in the end, when all is done, Life’s a journey, not a race to be won. So take it slow, breathe it in, Embrace the joy, forgive the sin. For life is fragile, life is strong, A fleeting note in an endless song.
