The River Between
At birth, they lay side by side; and witnessed the arrival of life. They smothered the little one, with toils of their own; till it grew...... In the afternoon, they slept! Leaving the little one to play She was picked up by "hope" and crossed to the other side They woke up in the evening; anxious and pierced their eyes to the west...... They saw their fare one, who was now divided from them by the very river that united them. They now dream to cross to the other side, and retrieve that which is lost. Jb Wisely Uganda
