The reality of losing you mom
I guess the reality of your death has finally started to sink in. For even in my dream you appeared, I could barely witness your gleam. Dressed in a pink saree, accompanied with a nice shawl, the mini bindi on your forehead and the exchange of smiles. You made eye contact but was only spotted by me, For the rest of the crowd you seemed invisible like a sudden fink of my memory. Before I could say something, I guess the time was up and you chose to leave. Right after that second, I suddenly transform into a heartbroken maniac, Running like crazy, trying hard to not forget that locking of eyes. Now that I am awake, I staunchly feel the pain. Holding onto my pillow, the rift of the agony hitting me like a hurricane. Ironically I should have gotten used to it by now, Choking in silence, while tears carving its way out. Is it really too late? Have you missed the deadline? As miserable as it sounds, however I crave for your nearness back in our lives.
