I am the rat queen. Give me the homeless. The junkies. The whores. The convicts. Give me the poor. The wicked. The drunk. The desperate. With all of these shameful labels how can we truly love each other? The rats. The diseased. The unclean. Give me the rats. The anxious. The depressed. The hopeless... And in return I will give my love. True love for humanity. I have found Hate to be the true enemy, and Love to be the true hero. Righteous. Powerful. We will not fear those we love. With empathy and care, and patience, we can love anyone. Listen. Listen carefully. Observe. Ponder. Consider all sides. All perspectives. Care. Open your heart. Open your mind. Open your ears. Open your hands. Love. And with a roar shout from the rooftops that love is the key! Kindness... Care... Friendship... Love. Love is the absolute strongest weapon against hate! It will always, always win. I'm telling you. Forget the labels! Forget the stereotypes! Does the rich man truly have more love in his life? Are those who smile truly the happiest? No... Seek the beauty, I'm begging you, and you will find it! Look in the eyes of the rats of this world... There's more to their story, if you just listen patiently. Those who've lost are more grateful. Those who have lost their homes, their loved ones, their careers, have gained humility and become more thankful when kindness is shown. Instead of looking down on the rats of this world, hold them.
