The Quiet Weight
"For the men who carry more than they say" You wake up and carry it again, the pressure, the silence, the need to stay strong. You move through the day, Even when your chest feels heavy, Loud thoughts in your mind That you don't talk about and no one asks about. You learned to stay quiet, To fix it and move on, You learned to hide the mess, You laugh it off, You change the subject, You say "I'm fine" even when you are not. You don’t complain. You don’t cry. You just keep going. But inside, there’s a quiet shame. For being tired. For not having it all together. For needing something you don’t know how to ask for. They told you real men don’t break. But God never said that. Jesus wept. David trembled. Even strong men in the Bible had days when they couldn’t hold it all. And still, God called them Chosen. Loved. Enough. So here’s the truth: You don’t have to carry it all alone. God is not asking for perfect. He’s asking for honest. “Come to me,” He says, I know you are weary, tired and burdened, I will give you rest. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to be human. Even the parts of you you’ve never spoken out loud, God sees them. And He still calls you His.
