the quiet end
I'm tired of fighting, tired of pain, Each day I wake feels just the same. A heavy heart, a hollow chest, I long for silence, long for rest. They say, "Hold on, you'll be alright," But darkness swallows all my light. The weight is more than I can bear, I cry for help, but no one's there. The fight is gone, my strength is thin, The world outside, I can’t let in. I’m crumbling slow, piece by piece, Praying for the pain to cease. I wear the hurt like second skin, A battle I can’t seem to win. No more strength to fake the smile, I’ve walked alone for far too long a mile. So here I stand, the final bend, Letting go, my quiet end. The fight is over, I can't pretend, I’ll close my eyes and finally mend. I don't think I can continue I am alone and I feel like I am getting exhausted I feel as if I am a hollow emotionless ghost that is clinging to life all for the sake of making everyone else happy I feel as if I am loosing the war if I have happiness it is taken away I can no longer find nor do I have the strength to pretend to be happy like I normally do and it hurts so much I feel like I cannot continue I am running out of rope I am tired for the weight of my soul is to heavy to carry anymore I wish I can rest .
