The Quiet Dreamer
Firstborn, among four brothers I stand, A silent watcher, a helping hand. My early days, a chosen few, Friends counted close, and ever true. Not one for chatter, soft my tone, In quiet corners, I'm at home. Attention's glare, I turn away, Preferring shadows, come what may. My space, a haven, calm and deep, Where unspoken thoughts I safely keep. If not invited, I won't intrude, My presence given, not pursued. No 'cool' in mirrors I can find, Just a thoughtful heart, and a dreaming mind. For big dreams bloom, a vibrant sight, Yet hope's a fragile, flickering light. My troubles faced, within my soul, No burden shared, to make others whole. But listen close, my ear you'll find, A quiet counsel, for a troubled mind.
