THE PROMISE BETWEEN ME AND ME.
THE PROMISE BETWEEN ME AND ME, Part I: A Confession I promised myself, I promised to wait till marriage. But in that moment— everything went dark, like a candle flickering in a sudden storm. I mean—don’t get me wrong, I tried. I truly did try. And yet... I couldn’t. Sitting upon his lap, my face turned to his, gazing into his dazzling eyes, his glossing lips— like... goddamn (in a soft-calm voice), it just had to happen. It was bound to happen. Being so close to him, feeling our hearts racing—like wild panting dogs, made the butterflies in my stomach take flight— like a caged animal finally released, and so did the storm that raged beneath my skin. The next thing I recall, we’re lying in bed, fully unclothed, and fully unapologetic— just suspended in time. Honestly, it felt sooo good— the moans, the sweet pain, the skin-to-skin touch, the everything— it was an afternoon worth remembering. ~Veil of Whispers
