The promise
I promised myself a long time ago. I won't let anyone hurt me again; I will close my heart. I won't open to it. I feel true love. Every heartbeat is one step closed to finding my happiness so that I won't second guess myself. I have to be stronger and keep moving forward. I see how my future can go. But I see things coming up to block it. Right now, I am just trying to keep my promise to myself. But my cause keeps changing. So I have to find my way back. So I can stay on track. Then native hit me like a thunderstorm. When will that cloud stop following me? I want to feel the sun on my face. I love the feeling—a sign of hope. I am trying to reach my peace. I don't want to let myself down. I made a person to myself. I won't let anyone stop me from getting to my happy place. So I can be me. I can shine a light on a star. The feeling of breeze hit your face. You closed your eyes. You see Paradise—a sign of being free from drama. I will climb the mountain. So I won't break my promise because I have to be true to myself by me writing again. It is a big part of my journey. It is another chapter of my life. I know where it can take me.
