The Process
"The Process" In my life, I could never see The options open to me No clear path, no vision, Stuck in limbo with no decision. No path to follow, no clear road, Just writing poetry from Sonnet to ode. To this, it's much the same— Just doing this job for monetary gain. Followed the sheep to pasture new, Doing what good shepherds do, Tending to their immediate flock— No surprise, no shock. Never one to follow the crowd, Always vocal, maybe even loud. Poetry now being my go-to station, A quiet rebellion, a bold declaration. In my life, there must be organization and security, Hence, bringing you along with me— A solid unit, a family, Bound not by blood, but loyalty. All along it dangled in front of me, In plain sight for all to see. Never doubt what fate has in store— Follow the process forever more.
