The Problem of Age
When we're young, we have not the strength, but have the stamina to go so far. When we're old we have not the stamina, but have strength to carry, lift and build great things. But we often do not build these things, because we know we do not have the stamina too see it through. When we're young we have the enthusiasm, but not the vision or the sure footing of who we are. When we're older we have the vision, and steadfast soul, but enthusiasm is waning, like a summer flower late in season. So it seems as though we are always lacking in something or other, but we are but human, in a broken world, and we ourselves dwell inside a broken vessel, like a cracked pot.
